“We connect with people in hopeless situations — a grieving mother, someone dealing with drug abuse, or other trauma — and give them community, show them how to love themselves more, and we become an example to them of what’s possible for them.”

Mission Statement

 

We were founded on the need of support from the community.  We encourage self love, higher education and self employment by offering a support bridge to those in need of resources to get to the next level in their lives.  We believe it takes a healthy village to raise a child.  United we stand!

What We Do

We work with more than 5,000 families in the District from sites in all 8 wards. Where we see a need, we find a way to address it, with diverse programming in:
